WP11 is made up of Chromium (~1%), Molybdenum (~0.5%), and carbon and manganese. WP11 is heat-treated through normalizing and tempering, resulting in tensile strength of 515–655 MPa and yield strength ~205–310 MPa. WP11 exhibits good high-temperature creep, and oxidation resistance up to a temperature of ~600°C. The alloy also has good hardness, impact strength, and weldability. WP11 is used for severe elevated-temperature applications.
