Super Duplex Steel S32750 pipe fittings consist of about 25% chromium, 7% nickel, 4% molybdenum, and nitrogen and manganese additions. This chemical structure provides S32750 outstanding pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking resistance. It is provided with a high tensile strength of approximately 795 MPa and yield strength of 550 MPa, coupled with excellent weldability and toughness at elevated as well as sub-zero temperatures. Its two-phase microstructure (austenitic-ferritic) offers a superb combination of strength and corrosion resistance, which is quite suitable for highly corrosive environments such as chloride-rich or acidic systems.
