Stainless Steel 347/347H Forged Fittings are columbium (niobium) stabilized austenitic stainless steels with chromium, nickel, and columbium (niobium) content. They have superior resistance to intergranular corrosion. Grade 347H contains a higher carbon content to enhance creep strength and resistance to high temperature. These fittings have tensile strength of about 515 MPa and yield strength of about 205 MPa, with good resistance to oxidation and corrosion at temperatures up to 870°C. The niobium stabilization provides improved mechanical integrity under thermal cycling. The above qualities make 347/347H most suitable for pressure-containing components in high-temperature service conditions.
