Nickel Alloy 201 has more than 99.6% pure nickel with extremely low carbon (≤0.02%), which makes it the best fit for applications where brittleness due to carbon cannot be tolerated. It exhibits a tensile strength of 380–520 MPa and yield strength of approximately 100–160 MPa, with superior thermal and electrical conductivity. It is resistant to caustic alkalis, salts, and weak acids, and maintains ductility under both hot and cold work conditions. Nickel 201 is in a non-magnetic state when in the annealed condition and is readily fabricable or weldable.
