Nickel Alloy 200 consists of 99% minimum nickel and minor quantities of iron, copper, manganese, and silicon. It has a tensile strength between 380–520 MPa and a yield strength between 105–210 MPa. The alloy is highly ductile, thermally and electrically conductive, and possesses superior corrosion resistance—particularly in caustic as well as alkaline conditions. It is non-magnetic in the annealed state and can be easily shaped and welded. Nickel 200 fittings possess excellent resistance to stress-corrosion cracking and can be both cold worked and hot worked.
